Children are a blessing from the Lord and, by His grace, we have seen an abundance of them in our children’s ministry as of late! We are excited to partner with parents and help them feel empowered to help their children grow and develop spiritually.
All children’s workers have completed a background check and have attended a training course to ensure that they are well equipped to care for your child. All children 4 years of age and younger will be checked in between 10:30 and 10:45 each Sunday morning back in the Kids Village section of our building. Children 8 years old and younger will be dismissed from the service after some time in corporate worship with the rest of the church. We have divided our children's ministry into 3 groups: Babies, Toddlers and School Aged.
We provide nursery care in a bright and fun environment for all children under age 2. They listen to music, have snack and play with other kiddos.
In our Toddler room, children participate in a morning of learning through an age-appropriate curriculum, Play Through the Bible. They hear a biblical story out of the Toddler Rhyme Bible, and complete a craft that is appropriately developed for their abilities. The children will also have time to play with toys as well as snack time during the Sunday morning hour. Children remain in this class until they have entered Kindergarten in the Fall.
Children age 4-6 remain in the morning worship service through the singing and then are dismissed to participate in The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered time of Bible study and activities where our children gain a greater understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In our baby nursery, we provide nursery care on Wednesday nights for children under age 2.
In our Toddler room, children age 2-3 are welcomed to participate in a time of engaging singing and a Bible story from The Play Through the Bible with a corresponding craft each week.
In our Classroom, every other week children age 5-8 are invited to study God and His Word through a curriculum based on Galatians 5, the Fruit of the Spirit. The purpose of this ministry is to show our children how, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can live a fruitful life to the glory of God.
